Why Clean Your Dryer Vent?

Lint accumulation restricts airflow, making your dryer run hotter and longer. That means fire risk, higher utility bills, and extra wear on your dryer. Our service removes lint end-to-end and restores safe airflow.

Our Cleaning Method

1) Inspection & Safety Prep

We inspect the hose, transition duct, wall/roof exit, and measure baseline airflow. We protect floors and nearby finishes.

2) Rotary Brushing + HEPA Vacuum

We mechanically agitate lint with flexible rotary rods from the appliance side, collecting debris with a HEPA vacuum to avoid dust inside your home.

3) Exit Cap & Roof/Wall Cleaning

We clean the exterior exit (roof or wall), remove lint nests/flaps obstructions, and verify proper flap operation or screen removal (screens trap lint and are unsafe).

4) Reassembly & Airflow Test

We reattach the transition duct correctly (no screws inside the airflow) and perform a final airflow reading to confirm improvement.

Extra Repairs & Corrections (not included in standard cleaning, billed separately)

🪢 Flexible Hose Replacement

If the flexible hose (dryer transition duct) behind the dryer is damaged or unsafe, we can replace it for an additional cost.

🪟 Exterior Vent Hood Replacement

If the outside vent cover is broken, missing, or unsafe, we can install a new durable hood (extra charge applies).

🛑 Screen / Bird Guard Removal

Elimination of unsafe screens or bird guards at the vent exit that trap lint and reduce airflow (extra service).

🔧 Duct Correction

Correction of crushed or kinked ducts that restrict airflow and put extra strain on your dryer. Quoted separately depending on difficulty.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I clean my dryer vent?

Typically every 6–12 months. Homes with long runs, roof exits, or large families may need it more often.

What are the signs my vent is clogged?

Clothes take longer to dry, the laundry room feels hot or humid, burning smells, or visible lint around the exit.

Do you go on the roof?

Yes—when the exit is on the roof, we clean it and verify the cap/flap is clear and operating correctly.

Can you fix issues you find?

We can replace unsafe transition hoses, remove screens at exits, and correct obvious hazards with your approval.
